  1. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Parasites Index

    An alphabetic list of parasitic diseases that includes photos, epidemiology and risk factors, diagnosis and treatment information for each parasite, plus links to accredited CME training materials offered by the CDC.
  2. CDC Traveler Health/Yellow Book

    The definitive resource for travel medicine, including health-related travel notices, plus safe travel resources, country-specific disease information, and training materials. Particularly useful for your patient who is a VFR (visiting friends and relatives) traveler.
  3. Culture Care Connection

    Cultural competency training for healthcare providers, organized by region. Also provides patient information translated into a number of languages.

    Download the refugee health assessment, which closely mirrors the CDC Guidelines for the U.S. Domestic Medical Examination for Newly Arriving Refugees. Also provides quick guides for screening for infectious diseases, mental health issues, and more.
