Our Shared Responsibility
For A New Generation Of Global Health Care Providers
The Global Health Pathway is one of several tracks open to residents and fellows in internal medicine and medicine-pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. Richly varied options for service to local immigrant and refugee communities, global health mentorship, international clinical rotations, and free tuition for our renowned Global Health Course make the Pathway an outstanding preparatory experience for a career in global health.
For A Healthier World Population
Health disparities exist globally, including in our own backyard. It is our shared responsibility to be good partners to our fellow global citizens, as opposed to medical tourists. It is our privilege to learn and work together with these populations, including several community initiatives.
